Hoping someday you'd finally open your eyes and see

That I was always there wanting us to be

But I guess I'm not the only one who is truly blind

From birth I used my sense of touch to see things I love

My physical eyes have never seen the light from above

Yet I don't need eyes to see your heart race when she's near

I don't need eyes to see that it does not change when I appear

But maybe if I had eyes that could see the whole wide world

Then I could finally understand why you don't love me like I wish you would

But maybe the reason lies within your eyes
